Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Fall 2023)

Join us for Lord Denney's Players' Fall 2023 production, A Midsummer Night's Dream, directed by Professor Sarah Neville. This will mark LDP's tenth production since 2014. The show will run October 26, 27, 28, and November 2, 3, 4 in the new TFMA Building's Lab Theatre on campus. Each show will be followed by a talkback with the cast and crew. Tickets will go on sale in early October (English and TFMA majors get in free).

Auditions for A Midsummer Night's Dream will occur August 28, 29, 30 from 5-8pm in Denney Hall 311, with callbacks on Thursday, August 31. Auditioners should prepare a short (60-90 second) monologue from a Shakespeare play other than Midsummer and prepare to be given sides to cold read. No experience is necessary. OSU faculty, staff, and graduate student participation is totally encouraged!

Rehearsals for Midsummer will run Mondays-Thursdays beginning September 5 from 7-10pm and Sundays from 1-4pm in Meiling Hall. Please note that until the end of the rehearsal period, every actor does not need to be at every rehearsal.
